Personal Grievances

Personal Grievances (“PGs”) and employment relationship problems can be diverse, and choosing the best strategy to resolve one can be challenging. We have the experience and understanding to advise on strategies designed to deliver the outcomes you are seeking, and to guide you through dispute resolution processes.

personal grivenance

Most PGs, whether for unfair dismissal or any employment related matter, are resolved through mediation, but there are other options and one size does not fit all. Direct communication with the employer, sometimes to negotiate an exit; or workplace facilitation are other common options f.

We can advise on whether you have grounds to bring a PG and what the potential outcomes may be. We can also help choose a strategy to deal with processes (such as performance or investigations) that may appear unfair and unjustified.

If your grievance or issue cannot be resolved through direct negotiation or mediation, we have the experience and skills to take a grievance further through litigation: either at the Employment Authority, or in court.

We have found that the most important concern for our clients is to have great communication and clear understanding of options to enable them to make informed choices about how to resolve their grievances.
